Knights host first afternoon game of the season!

SHERWOOD PARK - November 16th proved to be a huge success for the Knights both on and off the ice as they hosted their first afternoon game of the season. Sunday featured a fun filled day for one minor hockey team from Sherwood Park as they were able to participate in the intermission shootout and the benchwarmers experience! Two U7 players also got to take the ice with the Knights during the opening lap before the anthem and stand on the blue line with the players before puck drop!

The benchwarmer experience is the best way for your minor hockey team to get up close and personal with the Knights players during warm up! Watch warm up from the bench, interact with players and staff and enjoy some of the action right at ice level from the Knights bench!

The afternoon was a big success with these events going on throughout the game and the Knights capped it off with a 10-0 win over the Leduc Riggers. The Knights look to have more of these afternoon games in the future and help showcase the talents of Sherwood Park minor hockey teams while promoting a fun filled family environment!
