Knights clinch top spot in the Eastern Division!

SHERWOOD PARK - The Knights clinched top spot in the East last night in St. Albert with a 2-1 overtime win.  Their 27th win of the season locks up the top spot, allows the Knights a bye in the Qualifying round and sets a February date in the best of 5 CJHL quarterfinals.  The Knights will face either the Edmonton Royals, Beaumont Chiefs or rivals Strathcona Bruins depending on how the teams finish our their season.  With the Knights finishing first, they will play the lowest divisional seed that wins their qualifying round matchup!

The Knights still look to finish the season strong with three games remaining against the Leduc Riggers and Spruce Grove Regals.  The final regular season home game goes at Randy Rosen Arena Sunday, February 1st at 7:30pm.  Come join the Knights on February 1st and send the team off to the playoffs with tons of support as they push to a 12th CJHL Championship and a Provincial Championship birth.  Watch for playoff dates as the CJHL sets those closer to the middle of February.
